Taehwagang National Garden is Ulsan’s easy evening: bamboo, lit paths, the river after the heat drops. Forty minutes is enough. The east-coast rocks at Daewangam are another taxi and another morning.

Keep to one bank of the Taehwa. The water looks long; you are not walking to the sea. When the path starts to feel like a commute, turn around toward the garden.

Eat light at the garden edge — a snack, not a second district. Then taxi or metro toward your hotel from Taehwagang Station. Samsan dinner only if you already booked it as a short hop.
