Drink coffee and eat a small meal in the Yeonnam-dong alleys, then take a short walk in Gyeongui Line Forest Park. Hongdae’s walking street is the loud night. Stay here for the quiet afternoon.

COEX and Samseong Station
Walk the mall, visit the aquarium if you want, and eat one meal. Keep it indoors when the weather is bad. Not the same day as Gangnam Station.

Jamsil: Seokchon Lake and the Lotte block
Walk Seokchon Lake, then one mall block. Easy on the metro, and fine with kids.

Walk one hillside above Itaewon, eat one foreign meal and one Korean meal. The clubs are a later night.

Euljiro after dark: print alleys and beer

Spend a student-town half-day: one meal, one cafe, a short shop stretch. Denser than Yeonnam-dong, cheaper than Gangnam.

Yeouido park and the Hangang
Walk the flat riverside, eat one picnic snack, and look at the skyline. An easy half-day from Line 5 or Line 9.
Families, or a jet-lagged arrival who wants outdoor time without hills.

Eat dinner in the hanok lanes and take a slow walk. Insa-dong’s souvenir street is a different afternoon.

See Myeongdong Cathedral, walk the shopping street, then reach the Namsan cable station. The tower is the cable ride. Hiking Namsan is another outing.
